Key of She Conference hosted by School of Music this Saturday

This Saturday, the School of Music will be hosting the first ever Key of She Girls Jazz Conference, lead by high school senior Olivia Hughart. The conference invites young women, ages 12-22, as well as their supportive teachers, directors, parents, and friends (guys are welcome), to celebrate and support women in jazz.

 

The day will be filled with exciting performances from jazz talents including Five Play, Diva Jazz Orchestra, The Diane Monroe-Tony Miceli Duo, Key of She Meets UArts Z Band, the Baltimore School for the Arts Chamber Jazz Ensemble and more! We will also have a variety of break out sessions for parents, band directors, and others who want to support our mission. It will be a full afternoon of music, education, and connection for all.

 

When: Saturday, April 27, 2019
Doors/welcome desk opens at 12:15PM and Conference runs from 1-4:30PM.

Where: University of the Arts, Terra Hall, 211 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA

The conference is free but pre-registration is required.
