Dear faculty and staff,
Many of you have expressed the urgent need of developing a consistent UArts brand that gains recognition on the local, national and international levels. I am pleased to share we are launching a new brand standard and style guide for the University that will be rolled out over the next several months.
At its core, UArts’ brand is our reputation. It represents who we are as a university and stands for our aspirational goals and ideals. It embodies our values as perceived by the general public, our students, our faculty and staff, our alumni and our friends.
Communicating our ideals and values in a compelling and consistent way allows us to achieve important objectives for the University.
You can find our new brand guide here: uarts.edu/brand.
This webpage will serve as an ever evolving resource and provide guidelines for everything from logos to letterhead, social media icons to institutional photography, and brochures to signage.
Over the coming months, our enrollment marketing and communications teams will be hosting meetings, workshops and trainings with departments across campus to share our vision and facilitate best practices with our new standard. I ask that you please be patient and recognize that this will be a phased rollout over the next several months and into next year, beginning with externally facing departments first. We do not expect all materials to reflect the new logo and guidelines overnight, but we look forward to partnering with all of you as we move forward.
