Grammy nominated artist, Ben O'Neill (guitarist, singer, songwriter), has played with some of the best known names in Pop, Hip Hop and R&B including John Legend, Jill Scott, Common, Sting, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Kid Cudi, and more. As an original member of Tye Tribbett’s famed “Soundcheck” band he was part of a movement that redefined the genre of Gospel music. He has co-written songs with Tye Tribbett and Bilal, and appeared on albums with Musiq Soulchild, Estelle, Vivian Green, Tre Songz, Jordin Sparks and famed musicians Adam Blackstone, Christian McBride, Jonathan Dubose Jr. and Chris Dave. Ben is currently a governor of the Philadelphia chapter of the Recording Academy and a member of the guitar faculty at The University of The Arts where he has taught private lessons, ensembles and a guitar recording class.
