Museum Studies (MA)

Laura H. Foster is a consultant for museums and other nonprofits. She held senior management positions for 22 years at Please Touch Museum®. She was a board member of the American Alliance of Museums and a board member and President of the Association of Children’s Museums. After leaving PTM in 2013, Laura served as Interim Executive Director of ACM.

Laura is committed to voluntary service on boards of organizations whose mission she supports. Currently she serves as President of the Wagner Free Institute of Science in Philadelphia.

Raised in Chicago, Laura has an undergraduate degree in anthropology from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York and a JD from the University of Baltimore.

Laura and her husband, Aaron Goldblatt live in Center City. They have three children and two grandchildren. They share their home with their small black cat, Larry.
