Juliana Noone joined UArts and the Professional Institute for Educators in June 2016. Before working at UArts, she was completing an internship in the programming department at FringeArts, and had also been working as a Maker Mentor in the Maker Jawn Initiative through the Free Library of Philadelphia where she ran pop up maker spaces in local libraries in North Philadelphia communities. Prior to that she completed a two year fellowship through the FAO Schwarz Family Foundation at Please Touch Museum, and worked several years working in early childhood education. Juliana is a graduate of West Chester University, where she studied Fine Art, Art History, and Psychology, and has also studied improvisation at the Philly Improv Theater. Juliana is also a co-founder of the live art troupe, ROMPUS, where she develops large scale, live painting and shadow performances in collaboration with visual artists and musicians.
