Jen McGinn received her B.A. and M.F.A in Dance from Hollins University in partnership with the ADF. She has served as the Programs Manager at Center for Performance Research - CPR (2012-2018); Coordinator of the University of the Arts Summer Institute in Dance (2010-present); Dance Specialist for "Life Lines” Community Arts Project (2010-2018); and Director of Dance Performance Workshop at Brooklyn Arts Exchange - BAX (2015-2018). Her teaching practices have been shaped through residencies at Dickinson College, the American Dance Festival, Hollins University, Booker High School Visual and Performing Arts Center, West Coast Civic Ballet, and the University of Maryland, among others. Her work has been supported through residencies with Movement Research, Gibney Dance, Dance Theater Workshop - DTW, Brooklyn Arts Exchange - BAX, and nEW Festival. Her work has been presented throughout the East Coast and abroad at various spaces and festivals including American Realness, Dance Theater Workshop, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Danspace Project, Dixon Place, Performance Mix Festival, CPR, AUNTS, Movement Research at the Judson Church, nEW Festival, Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, Franklin Street Works and the National Theatre of Luxembourg, among others.
