Cameron Birts
BFA '17
Cameron Birts received his BFA in Dance in May of 2017. After graduation, Cameron moved to Seattle, Washington where he is wrapping up his first season with the Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance Company under the artistic direction of founder, Olivier Weavers. This season Cameron has performed in premiere works by Banning Bouldin (Limitation Etudes), Ishan Rustem (Seed), Danielle Agami (Duck Sitting), and Olivier Weavers(Silent Scream) just to name a few. In addition to the company work with Whim W’Him, Cameron Birts continues his performance and creative endeavors during his breaks. He returned to Roswell, Georgia in February where he set work on the Modern Dance Company at his home studio, Roswell Dance Theatre. In March, Cameron performed Jérôme Bel's "GALA" at Fringe Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cameron Birts will be returning for the 2018-19 season with Whim W'Him and is excited about his upcoming project with Pennsylvania Ballet II.
