Jon maintains a regular performance schedule in Philadelphia.  He can be heard playing in a number of local theaters, and has performed or recorded with The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Jon Faddis, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, Wayne Bergeron, Terell Stafford, Randy Brecker, Kenny Barron, Bobby Shew, Dick Oatts, Jimmy Heath, Wynton Marsalis, Aretha Franklin, Tony Kadleck, Delfeyo Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis,  The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Ocean City Pops, The Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, Norman David and The Eleventet, and Rodney Mack and the Philadelphia Big Brass.

Asked about his diverse performance resume, Jon replies, "The modern freelance trumpeter must be equally comfortable in a wide array of musical settings. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of styles, and consider myself a student of the trumpet - in all it's forms and uses."
