Sculpture (BFA in Fine Arts)

Working as a young sculptor in the city's tight arts community has made many outside opportunities available to me, such as doing set design, collaborations, and showing my work at independent galleries.

I love commuting to school by bike. Biking opens the whole city up, I am able to go do research for my installations up in Fairmount Park, bike the river trail, and get to all the galleries easily and for free!

I love my studio so much and am almost always there: it's super large and has concrete floors, so as a sculptor and installation artist I don't have to be afraid of getting messy or heavy duty when making work.

And I'm also able to use the space as an installation space. I'm going to hate leaving my studio when I graduate in the spring.
