Halle Ballard

I like to pay attention to and keep a record of what’s happening in my life during the making of a piece. All of those things find a way into the work and for me, that's where the meaning is.

Halle was born in Philadelphia but spent most of her childhood in Nashville, TN. In 2015, she moved back to Philadelphia to attend University of the Arts and has been here ever since. She lives and works in west Philadelphia.
