Thumbnail

Laura Frazure is an artist who makes sculpture using wax, plaster, wigs, alabaster and other mixed media.

Among her more interesting work, she has built in eight-foot chaise lounge and upholstered it in synthetic human hair.

Laura teaches anatomy in China to both students and faculty there, teaching the teachers Western sculptural approaches, which are often the opposite of the traditional Chinese methods.
