Michele Kishita

Instructor, First-Year Writing Program

Michele Kishita is a Philadelphia-based abstract painter whose work is in a number of private/corporate collections, including Toyota and Kaiser Permanente. She has exhibited at the Sharjah Art Museum, United Arab Emirates, and has been published in Fresh Paint Magazine, The Artist Catalogue, Create! Magazine, and several literary journals.

Michele has been teaching for 15 years and has been working as an adjunct professor teaching artists how to write for eight years. She earned both her BFA and MFA in Painting from University of the Arts.
