Art, Media, + Design: Figure Drawing

David Berger is a painter and draftsman whose work includes, portraits, figures, nudes, animals and landscapes. His work has garnered many honors, including a Congressional Citation, the Lambert and Emma Wallace Cadwalader Prize for Portraiture, the Philadelphia Watercolor Award, and the Fred & Naomi Hazell Faculty Fellowship. He exhibits his work throughout the tri-state area and has taught at the Manayunk Art Center, the Art Institute of Philadelphia, The Continuing Studies Programs at both the Academy of Fine Arts and The University of the Arts, UArts Pre-College Saturday School, the former Foundation Department of the University of the Arts, Fleisher Art Memorial and Burlington County College. David has taught in various programs at the University of the Arts for almost 15 years.
