Along with Bier, four other ID students--Yixuan Li '18, Nicholas Gallagher '18, Griffin Linsalata '19, and Maria-Elena Alberto '18--were selected as Finalists for the People's Choice Award in the competition. Their work remained on exhibit at the museum throughout the week.

The theme for this year's competition, "Grand Gesture," was based on the work of Collab Design Excellence Award honoree, Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola. The competition challenge: "Design a piece of furniture that is the focal point of a room and incorporates storage."

Congratulations to all the students for their recognition and accomplishments.
