Our admissions process is designed for us to get to know you — and for you to get to know us — with the goal of helping us both make a "right fit" decision.  We look forward to getting to know you.

Admissions Overview

Admissions Deadline: There is no set deadline.  UArts operates on rolling admissions basis, which means we will receive and process applications throughout the year as space remains available in each program.

Financial Aid: If you wish to be considered for financial aid, you will need to complete the admissions process and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

For Spring 2019 entry, please file the FAFSA today.

For Fall 2019 entry, the FAFSA will be available on October 1, and we recommend you file your FAFSA by February 15.

  2. Submit the non-refundable $60 Application Fee.
  3. Submit official High School Transcripts
  4. Complete a Portfolio Review, Interview or Audition.
  5. Though not required, feel free to submit any of these Optional Materials.

Admissions & Scholarship Notification: Beginning in November, an offer of admission will be issued within two weeks of you completing all the above steps and will include notification of any merit-based Scholarship you may have been awarded.

Financial Aid Notification: Applicants who receive an offer of admission prior to January and have submitted the FAFSA will receive a need-based Financial Aid package in January.  Applicants who complete the admissions process after January and submit the FAFSA will receive a need-based Financial Aid package approximately two weeks after receiving an offer of admission.
