Game Art Graduate Receives WomenIn Scholarship from AIAS

Danielle Vuono BFA ’19 (Game Art) has received the prestigious WomenIn scholarship from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) Foundation. 

The WomenIn Scholarships, supported by Intel, are available for women students and early career professionals pursuing game development or the business of interactive entertainment. In a collaborative effort to attract, retain and advance women in this industry, WomenIn provides education, professional development and a yearlong mentorship program. 

In January of this year, Vuono’s collaborative project Sole (Gossamer Games) was nominated for best student game at the annual Independent Games Festival.
