Kaitlyn Rafferty graduated from the University of the Arts in 2019 with a major in Music Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology and a minor in Advertisement. During her time at UArts, she worked with multiple street teams, local artists and high school arts programs. She also worked with large name companies such as Billy Penn Music, the Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs and GRAMMY U) and Live Nation Philadelphia. Kaitlyn entered the MBET program with intentions to pursue a career in live sound but quickly found a passion for the business end of the industry, specifically marketing.

In the midst of her senior year, Kaitlyn was offered a position with Live Nation Philadelphia. As a marketing coordinator, she is able to mix her love for marketing with her passion for working with her local community. Kaitlyn continues to work with UArts through Live Nation’s internship program and Brand Ambassador programs, both of which allow her to help students get their first steps in the Philadelphia music industry. She plans to continue her work in Philadelphia for the near future.
