Undergraduate Costs

University of the Arts’ Student Financial Services team will guide you through the process of paying for a UArts education. Approximately 98% of eligible students receive financial aid.

We offer a variety of grant, loan, and student employment options to help you realize your goals.

Net Price Calculator

The net price, or out-of-pocket cost, is the amount a student pays to attend an institution in a single academic year after subtracting any scholarships and grants they receive. (Scholarships and grants are forms of financial aid that do not need repayment.)

Net price calculators allow you to enter information about yourself to find out what students with similar financial profiles paid to attend UArts in the previous year, after taking grants and scholarship aid into account.

Our net price calculator provides a preliminary estimate of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility, to help you gauge what aid might be awarded and to begin making plans to address the cost of attendance. It is important to understand that this calculator offers a general estimate and should be used for informational purposes only.

Note: Merit scholarships are awarded based on talent and academic merit and are not accurately reflected in this calculator.

Student Aid Index

The Student Aid Index (SAI) is an eligibility index number that a college’s financial aid office uses to determine how much federal aid the student would receive if they attend a particular school. This number results from the information that the student provides in their FAFSA form.
