Why did you decide to become a FYG?
I really enjoy being one of the first faces that the new students see when they first set foot on campus. I enjoy being a resource, role model and leader for the new students and being a familiar face as they go about their year.
What's your favorite thing about UArts?
I love the diversity, the encouragement, the friendliness and the way that this school prepares you for your post-grad career.
What makes you excited about New Student Orientation?
Everything! I love NSO so much! This is my 3rd year being a First Year Guide and I am so excited to see all of the new students who are coming to be a part of our UArts community!
What advice would you give to new students before they get to campus for their first semester at UArts?
Don't be shy! Put yourself out there and immerse yourself in everything that you can. Meet new people, ask questions, attend the events and be excited for this amazing, new college experience!
