Fine Arts (BFA)

Dave Walsh is a painter who lives and works in Philadelphia. His work investigates the facilitation of American landscapes mythologies through infrastructure and architecture.

Biography

Dave Walsh earned his BFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University, and his MFA from Yale School of Art. He was a 2015–2016 Fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and a 2021 recipient of an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant.

Experience

Walsh has taught painting and drawing at various schools including Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University; Villanova University; and Swarthmore College, all in Pennsylvania.
