Dear faculty and staff,
As you may know, Philadelphia officially moved to the yellow phase of reopening today. In addition, new guidance has just been issued by state and local authorities, which we are actively reviewing. While some restrictions are loosening, please know that there is not yet a change to our current work conditions. For the time being, only essential staff / faculty or those involved in essential activities with the approval of senior staff may return to campus.
The Crisis Management Team together with senior staff, deans and representatives from across many units are hard at work putting together our plan to open campus. We expect to have more updates to share with our community in the coming weeks.
I thank you all for your incredible perseverance, time and extraordinary efforts over the past several months. I look forward to welcoming you all back to campus in the not too distant future, and after we have confirmed our plan to ensure it is safe and feasible to do so.
