Brenton McCloskey joined the UArts Advancement Office in January 2017 and is responsible for leading and advancing the grants and foundations portfolio, as well as working closely with UArts corporate sponsors. His focus will be on helping to increase funds for scholarships and numerous projects and programs vital to the UArts community. Brenton came from the University of Maryland's Environmental Finance Center where he worked with communities to raise revenue, secure grants, and help develop finance structure frameworks to fund community level environmental initiatives.
Brenton has a BS from Slippery Rock University in Environmental Studies, and an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Originally from northwestern Pennsylvania, he is excited to be back in his home state. He currently lives in Center City Philadelphia.
