Why did you decide to become a FYG?
I had such a wonderful experience with my FYG my first year, so I wanted to give back and provide that experience for others. Your first year of college is such an awesome experience and I want to do my part to make it the best it can be!
What's your favorite part about the UArts community?
My favorite part about the UArts community is the family of creative collaboratives that make up the student body as well as the faculty and staff. Everyone truly cares about each other and wants their peers to succeed. It's so enriching to have artists by your side that not only encourage your craft, but strengthen it with their own ideas and contributions.
Why should new students attend New Student Orientation?
New students should absolutely attend NSO because it is the best way to dive into the UArts community! I remember when I completed NSO, I received so much helpful information about campus, policies, events and activities around the school. This was super helpful for me because it can be very daunting to ask questions when you're brand new. In addition to the informational aspects of the event, it was just an absolute blast!
