Brandi Burgess is an actor, director, theatre educator, and arts warrior. She is thrilled to return to her alma mater (School of Theatre, 2012) to invest in its development, communications, and alumni relations.

Previously she was the Education Programs Manager at Philadelphia Theatre Company, where she designed and implemented arts curriculum, fostered lasting school partnerships and facilitated theatre accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

She has served as the Special Programs Director at Wolf Performing Arts Center, where she curated the "citizen artist" initiative that empowers young individuals to evaluate the civic duty of an artist and create an original play with a social justice platform. She also designed Wolf PAC's behavioral inclusion practices, and founded QUILT, a multi-faceted theatre program that serves individuals on the autism spectrum. Brandi has designed two premiere "relaxed performances" for theaters in the Philadelphia area, which offer modified rules for patrons with unique sensory processes. Other favorite positions include Asst. Artistic Director for Prague Youth Theatre, and a teaching artist at the acclaimed New Victory Theatre in New York City.

Brandi lives in South Philadelphia with her partner, and often partakes in theatre happenings around the city.
