Biography

Anselm Dästner is a graphic design consultant balanced at the cutting edge of design and technology. He recently developed an AI-based film database search engine in Switzerland and has worked with The Limited, Adidas, and Scholastic, creating designs for record covers, marketing centers, and advertising campaigns, along with complementary point-of-sale materials, fliers, movie posters, and packaging.

Dästner designed user interfaces for MTV’s first websites and Samsung’s first DVD releases and is an enthusiastic participant in Type Thursdays, a monthly meetup for type geeks. His design studio/workshop storefront on East 9th Street in New York City sells silkscreened T-shirts, posters, postcard sets, and other merchandise produced under his own label, BOYZandGIRLS.
