Alumni & Creative Entrepreneurs (ACE)

Calling all Alumni & Creative Entrepreneurs!

The Alumni and Creative Entrepreneurs (ACE) initiative aims to promote the vibrant and passionate breadth of the UArts community’s creativity by inviting our vast network of creative alumni, students, faculty and staff to sell works in the new UArts Store. A percentage of the proceeds from each sale will go directly to the artist. UArts is excited to showcase you and your work!

The UArts Store will be relocated to the first floor of the Student Center, and is scheduled to open at the start of the fall 2023 semester.

Minimum Vendor Criteria

Applicants must be graduates or members of the UArts community who uphold the university’s core values. Submitted works should be complete and held to a professional standard.

2023 Open Application Dates

• April 20–May 12, 2023
• May 19–July 10, 2023
• Aug. 11–Oct. 16, 2023
• Nov. 10–Dec. 9, 2023

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprising faculty or staff from each school and representatives of the student body. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. All applicants will be notified via email of the final vendors selected. 

Sales Options

We offer a variety of sales options that are structured to support artists, including, but not limited to

• Standard purchase
  The UArts Store purchases previously established, mass-produced works (i.e. tabletop games, books, etc.). This is usually reserved for vendors whose products are available through a third party.
• Consignment
  The store houses products—usually handmade, one-of-a-kind items—and the profit is earned when a sale is made.
• Licensing
  The store obtains the rights to sell your work in a specified format and quantity.
