Because of COVID-19, we wanted you to have a little more time to make decisions, so we have postponed the priority tuition deposit deadline from May 1 to June 1. For graduate programs (excluding Dance), the priority tuition deposit deadline has been extended to July 1.

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of the Arts! To accept our offer of admission, as well as reserve a space in campus housing, the following deposits are required:

  • Tuition Deposit: Required to reserve a seat in the incoming class and applied to first-semester tuition charges.
    • Undergraduate – $300 Tuition Deposit:
      • Fall semester start: Refundable until June 1. A tuition deposit submitted by June 1 guarantees your space in the incoming class. After June 1, deposits will be accepted as long as space is available.
      • Spring semester start: Deposit as soon as possible to secure your space in the incoming class. Non-refundable.
         
    • Graduate Programs (excluding Dance) – $450 Tuition Deposit:
      • Fall semester start: Non-refundable. A tuition deposit submitted by July 1 guarantees your space in our program. After July 1, deposits will be accepted as long as space is available.
      • Spring or Summer semester start: Deposit as soon as possible to secure your space in the incoming class. Non-refundable.
         
    • MFA in Dance – $500 Tuition Deposit:
      • Summer semester start: Non-refundable. A tuition deposit submitted by April 29 guarantees your space in our program. After April 29, deposits will be accepted as long as space is available.
         
    • Ph.D. in Creativity – $1000 Tuition Deposit:
      • Summer semester start: Non-refundable. A tuition deposit submitted within two weeks of acceptance guarantees your space in our program. After two weeks, deposits will be accepted as long as space is available.
         
  • Housing Deposit – $200: Non-refundable, and only required if you intend to live on campus. For the Fall semester, the housing deposit deadline has been extended to June 1 for guaranteed placement. Please note that a housing deposit cannot be made before the tuition deposit is submitted. After June 1, housing deposits will continue to be accepted while space remains. In the event all available campus housing spaces fill, students will be added to a waitlist for housing. Learn more about housing and the meal plan requirement.

Go to deposit.uarts.edu/#######, replacing "#######" with your student ID number (found in your acceptance packet, or by contacting Admissions). Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.

Phone

Call the Office of Admissions at 800-616-2787 x 6049 to make your deposit over the phone by credit card. Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.

In Person

Visit the Admissions Welcome Center Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 5PM, in Hamilton Hall, 320 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, to pay by check, money order, or credit card.
