Congratulations on your acceptance, and welcome to the UArts community! We’re here to help you every step of the way.
Now That You’re Accepted
Activate and check your UArts email.
Check your UArts email to find out about everything happening on campus and in the classroom.
Complete your housing form.
If you plan to live on campus, complete your housing form through the housing portal. You must submit your deposit before you complete the housing form. Sign in using your UArts Student Portal username and password. The application form is located on the left side of the screen under Applications and Forms.
Review and pay your bill.
We will send a reminder email to your UArts inbox when it’s ready. Learn about the billing policies and payment schedule.
Complete these mandatory forms by June 1, 2024.
Log in to the application portal to complete the Emergency Contact and Parent/Guardian Permission form, sign the Student Code of Conduct, and share any dietary needs.
Submit your health form.
Students are required to carry health insurance and all students must submit health forms. Students must scan a single PDF of the health forms and email them to precollege@uarts.edu by June 1, 2024.

Submit your student ID photo.
Students are required to carry their UArts ID on campus. You will receive an email from no-reply@bbtrans.com which will detail how to upload your photo for your photo ID. You will receive your UArts ID at move-in (residential students) or check-in (commuter students).
Office of Educational Accessibility (OEA)
Explore the Office of Educational Accessibility support services.
Complete the OEA form.
Summer Institute students are welcome to complete this form to share an accommodation need for classroom learning or residential housing.

Parents & Guardians
Parent/Guardians will receive an email with details regarding the Parent/Guardian Virtual Orientation for residential students on prior to move in. Contact precollege@uarts.edu if you have any questions.
International Students
International Summer Institute students will need an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility) to obtain their F-1 student visa. Submit all required documents on the list below in a timely manner to the application portal so we may process and send your I-20. Note: If students currently have an F-1 student visa and are studying in the U.S., they will not need to do any additional steps.
Certification of Finances
All foreign students applying for F-1 student visa sponsorship must show sufficient funding for at least the duration of the program. Complete this form in English. The I-20 form cannot be issued without a valid Certification of Finances.

Financial Documents
Submit original, official bank statements for the past 3 months.
Previous I-20 (if applicable)
Submit your previous I-20 if you had one.
Passport Photocopy
Submit a photocopy of the page of your passport that shows your name and date of birth.
International Address
Confirm the address where you would like your I-20 mailed. Complete the international address form in the application portal.
