IMPORTANT! All CD and forms due by February 18th 2011 and can be dropped off at either Imaging Lab to Amanda Benton or Boby Myaing. For questions please stop by either location to inquire.

Eligibility

Contestants must be an undergraduate student enrolled in the current Spring 2011 semester at the University of the Arts. The work submitted must implement a service offered by the Imaging Labs: inkjet printing, color laser printing, laser cutting, or Pictorico film output. Additionally, the work is required to have been created while a student of the university.

Entry Guidelines

Due to gallery size limitations students may only enter three pieces of work with a final size of 16" by 20" or less. To submit your work please fill out the attached form with a CD containing your 3 images formatted under the following guidelines:

  • 300 dpi maximum resolution
  • 150 dpi minimum resolution (unless specific reasoning)
  • File saved at final print size.
  • Files names should be formatted as "lastname_firstname_#slidenumber", e.g., "presley_elvis_1.jpg".

Should your work require more than framing and hanging to be displayed you must also include a proposal for how you would like your work to be shown.

Sale of work

All work in the exhibition for sale is subject to a 50% gallery consignment fee and you will be required to sign a consignment agreement before the show hangs. Prices are to be set by the artist prior to exhibition. Patrons interested in buying student work will contact the gallery and arrange for a pick up of the work after the exhibition has closed. The other 50% of the sale price will be mailed in a check to the student at the address provided in the consignment agreement. Arrangements must be made to pick up unsold work after the show commences.

Deadline for Entry

Entry forms with an accompanying CD of slides are due February 18th, entries received after this date will not be considered. Students chosen to participate in the exhibition will be notified on February 25th.
