JOB TITLE: Part-Time Music Instructor
DEPARTMENT: School of Music
REPORTS TO: Dean , School of Music
Summary:
The School of Music at University of the Arts seeks a part-time/adjunct position for the instruction of the Live Sound Production classes beginning Fall 2021.
Expected to be positive thought leaders and demonstrate a desire to work collaboratively with a diverse student population. The University is particularly interested in reviewing applications from candidates with demonstrated investment in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and whose identities and/or professional work intersect with or address historically marginalized communities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- 5+ years professional Front of House mixing experience
- Active and established career mixing Front of House
- Expertise with analog and digital mixing consoles. Experience with DANTE is preferred
- Preference given to applicants with experience teaching at the college level

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Music Technology or related field required
