Regular exhibitions in William Way’s lobby showcase the work of local LGBTQIA+ artists and historical and cultural retrospectives. The Art Gallery’s exhibits change bimonthly and the center hosts opening receptions to introduce the artist and their work to the public. All artwork in the gallery is available for sale, and sneak-preview receptions are occasionally offered for interested collectors.

Through grant-making and other programs, the foundation promotes artistic expression that amplifies the voices of those on the margins, promotes sustainable and healthy communities, and works in the service of movements for economic and social justice.

Philadelphia’s first mixed-voice LGBTQIA+ chorus, the Philadelphia Voices of Pride is a self-affirming vocal ensemble devoted to enhancing musical, educational and cultural life in the Philadelphia area. The organization considers itself a group of ambassadors, promoting a positive image of the LGBTQIA+ community by donating time, talents and financial resources to benefit LGBTQIA+, HIV and women’s organizations.

The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus entertains audiences, supports communities and fosters acceptance through exceptional musical performance. Its repertoire includes a broad range of styles, including art music from the 17th century to the present, spirituals, sacred music, holiday tunes, love ballads, comic pieces, pop and rock songs, Broadway and Hollywood, opera choruses, folk songs from around the world, the latest LGBTQIA+ empowerment music, and other newly commissioned LGBTQIA+ works. The chorus performs varied programs to entertain and educate everyone it engages, creating and preserving a legacy of male choral music and helping members improve their musical skills.

Philadelphia Gay News (PGN) is an LGBTQIA+ newspaper in the Philadelphia area. It is a member of the National Gay Newspaper Guild and the area’s largest and oldest publication for the LGBTQIA+ community. PGN strives to make the community more informed about area resources and educate the non-gay community.
