Virginia Gehshan
Master Lecturer
BS, Cornell University

The partner responsible for the success of Cloud Gehshan Associates' largest and most complex projects, Virginia Gehshan works with a range of clients in the areas of environmental identity, architectural signage and wayfinding. She started her own design firm in 1983, then partnered with Jerome Cloud to form Cloud Gehshan Associates. Virginia is also an educator, teaching in the Industrial Design department at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

As past president and board member of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, Virginia also played a central role in the development of the profession nationally, developing client tools and authoring the SEGD standard contract. She has lectured for many professional organizations and universities nationwide, including the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the American Planning Association and the Society for the Marketing of Professional Services.

Virginia graduated cum laude from Cornell University, where she received a bachelor's degree in Design and Environmental Analysis.
