Profile

Laurence Bach's work has been exhibited in “Thirty Years of Poster Art” at the Gewerbemuseum Basel, and he has won awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the Art Directors Club of Philadelphia. Mr. Bach's photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums in London; Athens; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; and New York.

His work has been published in Aperture, Graphis, Typographishe Monatsblatter and Two Centuries of American Art. He is a practicing photographer and designer in the Philadelphia area.

Laurence Bach was the chairman of the Graphic Design department from 1985 to 1992. He currently teaches sophomore Design Systems, junior Communications Studio and the elective Photographics.
