Joseph Nero

 Joe Nero is the Coordinator of Percussion Studies at UArts. Joe is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Known for his versatility as a drummer and percussionist, Joe has worked in every major theater and showroom in Philadelphia and Atlantic City.

He has toured worldwide with such diverse artists as Bette Midler, Burt Bacharach, Bernadette Peters, Andy Williams,  Anthony Newley, Bobby Rydell and Frankie Avalon. He has also performed with jazz artists Tony Bennett, Eddie Gomez, Bill Watrous, Kurt Elling, Jimmy Bruno, Larry McKenna.  He has recorded with various artists for Sony, Philly International, Atlantic Records, and most recently with Ron Kerber for the Dreambox label.
