John Dulik studied piano with Allison Drake at the Philadelphia Musical Academy and with Natalie Hinderas at Temple University, where he was also a composition student of Robert Morgan and Clifford Taylor. He is a performer of both jazz and classical music, and has appeared with numerous ensembles, including the Philly Pops, Orchestra 2001 and the Philadelphia-based new-music ensemble, Relâche, with whom he recorded and toured for over twenty years. Until his recent retirement he was Assistant Professor of Music at Community College of Philadelphia, where he taught theory, designed the music technology studio and served for several years as department chairman. He is currently an accompanist in the School of Music at the University of the Arts.
