Dave Hartl
Synthesist, pianist, Chapman Stickist, composer and arranger. Has played synthesizer and piano for over 50 theatrical shows and with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, LaToya Jackson, Anthony Newley, Smokey Robinson, The Three Degrees, Mary Wilson and the Supremes, the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, the Dave Stahl Big Band, the North Penn Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
Jazz credits include four CDs of original material, two CDs with the funk/jazz group Raw Deal, and Concord Jazz artist Jimmy Bruno's Midnight Blue. His latest CD, "Lab Work," focuses on combining jazz improvisation and approaches with MIDI/audio electronic studio techniques and features performers from America, Japan and Holland.
