Carol Luttrell teaches private voice lessons at the University of the Arts.  She teaches Classical vocal techniques while singing Pop, R&B, Jazz, Alternative, Country, Classical and Musical Theatre. She has been teaching private voice lessons for 30 years.  She also teaches a Vocal Technique and Coaching class.

Carol has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education and Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.  Her major was classical voice and her minor was piano.  She also studied Jazz vocal improvisation and stylization.

She has had a career singing Pop, R&B, Jazz, Country and Musical Theatre.Directly out of college Carol became the lead singer on a world-wide concert tour throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, the Virgin Islands and Australia.  She performed on the road for 5 years.

Carol sang in recording studios for 10 years as the lead singer.  She has recorded over 300 radio commercials.  She has sung on many R&B albums including the Teddie Pendergrass album This One’s For You.  Carol has recorded many Pop and Gospel albums.

Carol Luttrell has performed in television specials filmed in Hong Kong, Australia and the United States.  She has been seen in television commercials for Sea World, Sunkist orange soda, Brittania Jeans, Pre-Sun, White Castle Hamburgers and United Airlines.

Carol created the Jazz voice program at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  While at Temple University she taught private voice lessons, solfeggio class, song stylization, voice class, stage presence and recording studio techniques. 

As a performer of Musical Theatre, Carol has had leading roles in the musicals: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man, 110 in the Shade and 1776.

Carol Luttrell is a composer/arranger and writes musicals with her husband Bill Luttrell.

Their musical Redheaded Robbie’s Christmas Story has been licensed by Samuel French for world-wide distribution.
