Charles Gilbert currently serves as Director of the Ira Brind School of Theater. He headed the Musical Theater Program since its inception in 1990. Credits as composer-lyricist include "Assassins" (1979, source of idea for Sondheim's "Assassins") and "Gemini" (premiered at Prince Music Theater in June 2004). Director and/or music director for productions at Arden Theater, Prince Music Theater, People''s Light and Theater, Gretna Theater, Opera Delaware, National Music Theater Network.
