Chuck Butler is the Music Director and Principal Composer for MONSTER TRACKS Original Music in Philadelphia. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston (Commercial Arranging,’87) and has won numerous awards for excellence in producing original music for advertising, film and corporate productions. His credits include national television and radio advertising, independent film scores, music for political campaigns and multi-media productions.

In addition, Chuck has appeared regularly as a keyboardist, pianist and piano-conductor with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Michael Crawford, James Darren, Martin Short, Jerry Vale, Regis Philbin and many others. He toured with Shirley Bassey in 2000, including performances at Symphony Hall in Boston and Lincoln Center in New York. He was a member of the orchestra for the GOP convention in Philadelphia in June of 2000 and served as Music Director and Conductor for the Aventis-Pasteur 2002 national sales conference.

Since 2002, Chuck has been a Senior Lecturer in composition at the University of the Arts. He has authored numerous articles for local advertising and news journals including ADV, ITVA (MCPA) and ACT. He is a member of BMI, MCPS, AES and the AFM, currently serves as Board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Composer’s Forum, and is President of Metronome One Music Publishing.
