Profile

Andrew Pap, Associate Professor, studied in Romania and performed for 13 years with the Romanian State Opera and Ballet.  Before coming to the United States, Pap taught in Zurich, Switzerland and Rome, Italy.  At the University of the Arts, from 1971 and onwards, he was the head of the Ballet Department.  Pap choreographed and taught at Saratoga Ballet Center, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and Pennsylvania Ballet.  For 10 years, Pap was the Artistic Director of the Voloshky Dance Ensemble.
