"A Free Man of Color"

Doylestown, Pa., native Brad Ogden is a senior Directing, Playwriting & Production major at the University of the Arts.

Says Ogden of his role as Thomas Jefferson in "A Free Man of Color": "I am intrigued by the notion of portraying an iconic figure in American history within a context that does not necessarily feel the need maintain his glorification."

On the reason why he chose UArts: "I enrolled at UArts because it was the only BFA program I encountered that would let me study directing and playwriting while simultaneously being trained as an actor. The breadth of practical production experience that I have received and continue to receive solidifies my decision."
