We are especially happy to offer WorldCat as an online method for requesting interlibrary loan materials.

HOW DO I ACCESS WORLDCAT?

• After reading over this page, CONNECT TO WORLDCAT directly
• OR go to http://library.uarts.edu and do a Title search

HOW DO I SEARCH WORLDCAT?
Once you're connected to WorldCat you'll see a screen like this:

• Be as specific as possible.
• Use an ISBN to get an exact match.
• You may turn up multiple editions of your book. Choose the one that looks best to you.
• NOTE that if the UArts Libraries own the item this will be indicated by an icon. You may not request items already owned by the UArts Libraries through ILL.

HOW DO I REQUEST MY ITEM ON ILL?
Look at the record of the item for a link to borrow from another library.

Click on the Borrow this item from another library link and you'll see a form like the one below. Fill out the form, especially the * areas, and click Submit.
You must supply your UArts e-mail address so we know you're eligible for service.

HOW DO I REQUEST JOURNAL ARTICLES?
Please make an appointment with a librarian to guide you through the process the first time.
