INTERLIBRARY LOAN SERVICE (ILL)

WHAT IS ILL?
A library service that allows you to request any book, article, or other material that our library does not own.

REMEMBER TO CHECK OUR CATALOG BEFORE MAKING INTERLIBRARY LOAN REQUESTS.

WHO CAN USE THIS SERVICE?
Any current student, faculty or staff member of the University of the Arts.
Alumni, reciprocal and member patrons are not eligible for ILL service.

HOW DO I DO THIS?
There are several options:

IS THERE A FEE FOR THE ILL SERVICE?
Every attempt is made to borrow for FREE. If materials cannot be gotten for free, you will be notified before materials are sent.
You must indicate on the ILL request form the highest amount you are willing to pay (this can be $0.00).

CAN I RENEW THE ITEM I REQUESTED?
ILL materials can usually be renewed before the due date. NOTE that the lending library has to be contacted to do this. Every library has a different policy. Send RENEWAL REQUESTS to mcastaldi@uarts.edu or call 215-717-6283.

UNPAID FINES OVER $5.00 on your library record will prevent you from TAKING the interlibrary loan materials OUT of the library..
