Michele Kishita is an Academic Advisor in Student Affairs, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Writing Department, Lecturer in the English as Second Language Institute, and Chair-Elect of the Alumni Council at the University of the Arts. She has taught a diverse population ranging from elementary school students to adults, including two years teaching English in Japan. Michele worked as Associate Specialist of Japanese Prints at Samuel T. Freeman & Co., where she identified, translated, catalogued, and appraised Japanese prints. She is a painter who has been featured in Studio Visit magazine and has exhibited in various galleries on the East Coast and internationally at the Sharjah Art Museum in the United Arab Emirates. Michele holds an AST ‘92 in Graphic Design from Hussian School of Art and a BFA ‘97 and MFA ‘10 in Painting from the University of the Arts.
