Kathleen Embleton

Assistant Vice President for Student Services

Kathleen Embleton currently serves as the assistant vice president for Student Services the University of the Arts. In this role, she is responsible for the overall design and development of services for the following areas: Residence Life, Student Activities, Health Services, Counseling, Student Conduct and New Student Orientation. 

Kathleen joined the University of the Arts in June 2011 as the director of Student Life, after serving as the director of Administration and Student Services at a small, private college in Dublin, Ireland, where she was responsible for the management of all areas of student services and served as the co-chair of the quality assurance committee.

She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Middle Education and a master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. Currently Kathleen lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Carl.
