Career Services

Julie Woodard joined the Career Services staff in August 2010 after several years as Program Manager for Philly Fellows, a non-profit leadership development program for recent college graduates.

In addition to assisting students seeking internships, jobs and other opportunities, Julie coordinates the UArts Summer Fellows program, which connects students to field experiences with UArts alumni. She is also always excited to explore new ways to help students utilize their artistic skills through community partnerships. Julie enjoys assisting students and alumni with resumes, cover letters and creative goal setting.
Julie completed her master of arts in Museum Education here at the University of the Arts in December 2015. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Temple University with a bachelor of arts in American Studies. She served for over four years as Board Secretary for Spiral Q Puppet Theatre, a local art and justice organization, and co-coordinates Philly Swap, a series of clothing swaps and creative workshops that celebrate recycling and DIY culture. In her free time, she enjoys cooking from her South Philly garden, riding her bicycle and occasionally performing with other Philly folk musicians.
