Our International Student/ESLI Orientation is designed to give you a smooth and enjoyable transition to your life in Philadelphia and at the University of the Arts.

Summer 2013 International Student ESLI Orientation
Monday, June 24th - Friday, June 28th
*All ESLI Students are REQUIRED to participate in ISO from June 24th – June 28th
Monday, June 24th: Arrival and Move-in
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - REQUIRED
Please arrive anytime within these hours. The earlier you arrive, the more settled you will feel in your new home by the end of the day!
On-Campus Students: Please go directly to your dormitory assignment: FURNESS HALL, 1499 Pine Street (behind Hamilton Hall, Pine Street entrance to UArts)
*An Orientation Leader will meet you at Furness Hall.
Off-Campus Students: Please come to International Student Programs after settling in at your off-campus apartment. Gershman Hall, Room 412, 411 South Broad Street (on Broad Street between Pine and Lombard)
- Check-in for Orientation: receive ISO packet with important updates and event locations

Fall 2013 International Student Orientation
Monday August 26th-Wednesday, August 28th
New Student Orientation begins Thursday, August 29th (International Students should attend BOTH International Student Orientation and New Student Orientation)
MONDAY, AUGUST 26th
9:00am - 5:00pm: Arrival and Move-In
**REQUIRED for all students living in the Residence Halls and ESLI students
**Recommended for all off-campus International Students
Off-Campus Students: Please arrive at Hamilton Hall 320 South Broad Street, Broad btwn Pine and Lombard. Orientation Leaders will welcome you, help you check-in and escort you to the International Student Programs Office.
On-Campus Students: Please arrive at your assigned Residence Hall. An International Student Orientation Leader will be there to accompany you to Hamilton Hall and the office of International Student Programs so that you can complete your check-in.
*Your ID will be ready if you have sent your photograph according to the instructions available here https://photoid.uarts.edu/.
If you were not able to send your photograph, we will order your ID
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Dinner and Residence Hall Meeting
Location: Jamaican Jerk Hut (15th and South)
**REQUIRED for all students living in the Residence Halls
