The University of the Arts is committed to providing students, faculty, staff and visitors with a safe and secure living and learning environment. Unfortunately, emergency situations sometimes arise that can interrupt the regular business of the University and can provide an unsafe environment for members of the campus community. While we are confident in our planning and procedures to handle these crises as they develop, we know that the best way we can help others is to teach them to help themselves.
These pages have been designed to help all members of the campus community to know their role in an emergency situation and the best processes to follow. If we can get people to build their own Personal Preparedness Plan, we have the best chance of limiting the interruptions and being able to move on with regular business.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the guidelines on this page and take the time to talk with your family and friends about what you would do to keep yourself safe. Remember, campus safety is everyone's responsibility.
