Blurring Edges is a student-run organization that provides additional artistic opportunities to students of the University of the Arts. Blurring Edges’ focus is on collaboration and creativity, with the goal to produce an outlet for multifaceted theatrical art. By exploring the creative process, Blurring Edges strives to produce thought-provoking and exciting live theatre. Along with additional performance opportunities, we are always open and willing to collaborate with other majors and disciplines within the student body. Also, as we continue to develop we hope to expand further into the Philadelphia theatre and art community.

During the school year we produce several shows each semester, including our annual “First Year Showcase” for the Musical Theatre majors in the Ira Brind School of Theater Arts. In the past we have produced the semi-annual “Miscast Cabaret”, a screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, "Between the Notes: An All Female Exploration of the Jazz Age", and “The Music of Katie Thompson” (in collaboration with Xhale Dance Company), among many others.
