Anne Egler serves as an Academic Advisor in Student Affairs, working with undergraduate and graduate students to assure their academic success at the University of the Arts. She has taught English and directed theater productions at Nanzan University and Junior College in Nagoya, Japan; Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland; Marymount High School in New York City; and Cecilian Academy in Philadelphia, Pa.
As a professional singer/actress, Anne has interpreted over 75 leading roles in plays, musicals, operettas, operas and children's theater productions around the world. She once toured all the U.S. Army bases in Germany in a State Department-sponsored holiday musical revue. One of her most memorable roles was the leading character in the radio play "Sorry Wrong Number," which she performed while studying in an exchange program at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in English from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and a Master of Arts in Drama from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She has one son, Matt, who is now thoroughly enjoying his first year of college.
